Vintage Union Tool Co. 12" Machinist Protractor Square with No 4 Grads Rule USA The photos show the ACTUAL item offered and should be used to help assess the condition. Offered is a used Union Tool machinist's protractor head with a 12" Union Tool rule, as pictured. Both rule and protractor head are marked "UNION TOOL, ORANGE, MASS USA". Rule is 12" long and is marked "No4 GRADS_HARDENED" and has 8ths, 16ths, 32nds, and 64ths grads. Protractor head is full 360° rotation capable. The tool is in decent condition and fit for use: no rust or corrosion and no personal markings; head locks up tight and both pieces have legible and easy to read graduation marks. This square does not have the shine of an overpriced new tool, but it can do the same job that the new one does and at a fraction of the price.
