Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Position Description: o Participates in daily/weekly shift communication meetings to review line performance (safety, productivity, scrap, customer concerns, 6S). Discuss and initiate countermeasures for off-target performance.   Follow-up on associates needs and concerns. o Champion of continuous improvement activities to reduce costs, improve efficiencies & quality utilizing lean / six sigma principles.  Coordinates problem solving sessions to continuously improve operational performance when appropriate. o Provides production assembly support as necessary with respect to work instructions, assembly process related issues, supplied part issues, and in resolution of CAPA's stemming from customer complaints. o Review and disposition of returned materials associated with customer complaints. o Participates in production line scrap review and non-conforming material dispositions. o Review and disposition of First Article Reports for supplied components. o Manages engineering change notices related to assigned production assembly lines. o Write, maintain and train on work instructions related to assigned production assembly lines. o Create and maintain product and shipping labels related to assigned production assembly lines. o Develop new tooling and test procedures for assembly and supplier processes. o Prepare and participate in team presentations. o Develop and implement product improvements related to assigned production assembly lines. Position Requirements: o Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology; Mechanical or Electrical preferred. o Experience: 5-7 Years of Manufacturing Experience. Knowledge and experience of a regulated industry such as medical or pharmaceutical is preferred o Green Belt in Six Sigma or Certified Lean Profession required; Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
