Mechanic - 3rd Shift

Overview
Sets up and maintains production equipment.
Responsibilities
Performs mechanical adjustments to keep equipment and machines operating.
Troubleshoots and repairs equipment.
Fabricate parts, guards or other devices to maintain operations and safe working conditions.
Performs scheduled, routine preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating and to minimize downtime.
Sets up and operates all equipment as needed.
Conducts machine changeovers throughout the (day shift).
Maintains various reports including preventative maintenance logs and downtime logs, as required.
Supports 5S initiatives ensuring areas are clean and free from debris and pallets.
Maintains paperwork as needed.
Assists in the training of new associates as needed.
Performs marginal tasks as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
1 ? 2 years of vocational training in mechanical applications.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.
Knowledge of basic PLC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and some electrical.
Knowledge of PkMS preferred.
Computer experience with mainframes.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
